Event & Incident Analyst (NV1 with potential NV2 uplift)

Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian IT and defence solutions provider to deliver critical ICT services for the Department of Defence. We’re seeking an Event & Incident Analyst to join a high-performing team responsible for ensuring timely, effective event and incident management across a major centralised processing program.

About the Role

As an Event & Incident Analyst, you’ll play a key role in maintaining operational stability by monitoring events, managing incidents, and restoring services efficiently. You’ll work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment that directly supports Defence operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform proactive event monitoring and take action to minimise high-priority incidents.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth shift handovers and accurate case management.
  
• Maintain detailed, high-quality incident records and manage multi-provider job queues.
  
• Contribute to assessments that improve incident processes and SOPs.
  
• Provide after-hours support for incident management when required.
  

About You

• Experience in an IT service desk or incident management environment.
  
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain productive relationships.
  
• Capable of working both autonomously and in a team; effective at prioritising tasks.
  
• ITIL V3 Foundation certification (or higher) is highly desirable.
  
• Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism and empathy.
